Lawn Tractors vs Commercial Walk Behind Mowers?
Why do most gardeners walk behind commercial mower when the cost of a new tractor brand or a patio garden is a lot less? I wanted to create a business and found that 8-10 years off a commercial cutting nehind (36-48 inches) is the same price as a brand new tractor? Anyone with experiance business mowing a response would be appreciated. Thank you!

My guess would be less maintenance and you can trailer more equipment than you could with the tractor. Cost effective.

Commercial lawn mowers are built for just that. Mowing, and a lot of it. They are designed to mow the largest area , for as little time as necessary and transported to the next job. They are also to be used everyday.
Garden tractors are designed to be used once a week, and designed for other uses as well. Attempting to use a garden tractor for commercial use will work, for a while but the tractor will need replaced after the first season or two. Most commercial will mow more grass in a month than most homeowners will mow in three years.
